A good place to talk!Welcome to the webpage of Pärnu Study Counselling Centre! Pärnu Study Counselling Centre is an organisation which provides reliable and competent counselling, guidance and information services for children, youth, parents, teachers and other employees of educational institutions and which coordinates activities of networks in Pärnu County. Pärnu Study Counselling Centre is subject to the City Government of Pärnu. Mission of the institution is to support pupils in obtaining education in accordance with their abilities and in making appropriate choices. Through counselling, giving advices and information our specialists do their best to support young people in leading their lives with dignity and high self-esteem. There are psychologists, social workers, career counsellors, special needs teachers, language and speech therapists and a career-information specialist at our target group’s service every day. The specialists of Pärnu Study Counselling Centre work with all schools and kindergartens in Pärnu, our psychologists and social workers have reception hours in schools as well as in our centre. Good place to ask!Pärnu Youth Information Centre was established in 1999 in order to provide better information services. Information centre provides services for all young people (7 – 26) and also their parents, teachers and youth workers in the area of Pärnu, and it is a part of the national system of guidance and informing. We organise several briefings, assemblies, conducted tours, courses and other useful activities for young people. There is possibility to use computers and internet in our information centre. Since September 1th 2006 we have developed Pärnu Youth Portal – noored.parnu.ee.
